The Know, Like, and Trust Factor
And how Brand Photography can help
Let me ask you, how trusting are you?
As children, we are taught about stranger danger. And now as adults, we often still don’t trust strangers, so as business owners and service providers we need to remove the label of ‘stranger’ and nurture a great relationship and connection with our potential clients.
Imagine if a stranger came up to you and told you about a product or service they liked and then started recommending it to you, it would feel weird and you would be wary. But what if a friend did this, you would take notice and probably follow up on their recommendation.
That is the power of KNOW, LIKE, AND TRUST.
With your friends and acquaintances, you’ve already built that know, like, and trust. You have got to know them. You know their personality and what they are all about. You have spent time with them, online or offline and you have a level of trust in what they say and do. Therefore, you are more likely to listen to them, take their recommendations seriously and buy from them.
Imagine growing that same relationship with your potential clients, giving them a chance to get to know, like, and trust you.
We can do this in many different ways, both online and offline. It doesn’t necessarily involve in-person meetings, but simply being present, showing up, giving value to your ideal client, showing your personality and your values, your brand, and growing a relationship.
In essence, growing know, like, and trust is all about continually growing a relationship. Allowing your potential clients to get to know you, whilst you also get to know them, learning everything you can about them.
There are a few ways how your business can tap into the know, like, and trust factor online.
- Content marketing, posting articles and blogs that are useful, helpful, and informative to your clients.
- Video’s and lives, to show your clients a glimpse behind the scenes.
- And of course, photography, showing beautiful on-brand images of yourself, your business, and perhaps even your personal life outside of work.
This all plays a big part in building that connection and relationship with your potential clients. Great brand photography, helps your audience understand who you are, what you do, and what you stand for. They will get to know you and be able to connect with you before they even met you!
