What can I say other than – wow, what a dog! Tig absolutely loved being in front of the camera!
Most dogs are quite happy to have their photo taken (and be bribed with treats, toys and cuddles), but this boy took it to a new level, he got well into it and loved posing like a supermodel. I’m sure you’ll agree with me, Tig is a very handsome lad.

This photo session was a long time coming, between lockdown and the weather, we finally managed to arrange Tig’s photo session beginning of July. I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing gorgeous Rottweiler Tig and his lovely owner Victoria at Aberdeen Beach, which is their favourite place for walks.
After a big welcome cuddle from Tig, we started with the session and I quickly realised that Tig was a proper poser, he loved every moment of the session and also quite enjoyed my smelly fish treats.
The beach is so versatile for backdrops, whether it may be the beach promenade, the sea or the groynes, whatever direction you turn, you get a lovely background. I made sure to capture Tig from all angles!

Unfortunately, Tig developed a heart issue in 2021, and his owner Victoria had to make the difficult decision to put him to sleep. I was heartbroken when Victoria told me, but at the same time I know that she got great comfort from the photographs from Tig’s photo session in 2020.
This little sequence of 4 photos really shows the very special bond they shared and Tig’s unconditional love.
